Before joining Remsen Family Law, Attorney Hetherton gained hands-on experience as a law clerk at firms specializing in lemon law defense, property insurance defense, family law, and criminal defense. This broad background allows her to approach each case with a well-rounded perspective and the ability to develop thoughtful, strategic solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.

A first-generation lawyer, Attorney Hetherton’s path to the legal profession is defined by determination, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose. She understands the trust clients place in their attorney and takes pride in providing honest guidance, clear communication, and compassionate representation.

While attending Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, Attorney Hetherton worked with legal aid services, where she advocated for victims of domestic abuse in paternity, custody, and divorce proceedings. That experience reinforced her passion for family law and her belief in using the law to protect and empower those in vulnerable situations.
